Stephen Quissy is a photographer, and a high school art teacher who lives in Vancouver, BC. Stephen spent 17 years working in and around the Port of Vancouver as a Cargo Surveyor and in this time used his camera to capture the peculiar beauty found there. His photographs are all shot on 35 mm film and explore the unintended beauty of utilitarian objects and places, as well as the tension between industry, environment, and global trade.

Stephen also loves the beauty and practicality of pottery and has been working as a ceramic artist over the last several years.
